For some one that claims to be in the "know" you act like you are... NOT! Here is the quote... "Two retractable pods attached to the model's belly this year give pilots cameras, light and heat sensors and multi- purpose radar." and another one... "For its first showing at Le Bourget, the Scorpion is carrying just some of the array of weapons and sensors offered with the twin-engined type. This includes a twin- payload configuration combining an L-3 Wescam MX-15 electro-optical/infrared sensor and Thales iMaster synthetic aperture radar."

The CRETIN needs to understand that at the time we had this discussion, (how soon the imbeciles forget) I addressed the SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR  QUESTION and told the complete utter fool at the time that a short ranged terrain mapper carried as an externally powered pod was useless in the air to air role and that the Textron Scorpion was too small volumetrically and lacked the power to operate a proper air intercept and missile guidance radar. But being the rotten no good ;liar and incompetent that the Belgian truck driver is, he trots out another pack of lies and claims as 'facts' that upon the simplest examination do not hold up as true in the ;light of day.

This WOFTAM poster may try to come back with some more off topic lies. I can't read minds, especially the minds of cretins.  We will just have to see what other bull-manure he attempts and have another hearty laugh at him..

I was waiting for this one! Already you have a fiasco with the Carriers... proved your math is crazy with the LCS vs. Frigates cost and this will be the icing on the cake!!! Just wait a little!!! By the way, the marine surveillance radar is new to the aircraft!!!! PD there is a swept wing version... what sort of radar you think that one will have?

I know you always insist on hearing the latest news on the Scorpion! http://www.janes.com/article/52381/paris-air-show-2015-production-standard-scorpion-to-fly-next-year

No it ain't anything new at all. Its being fitted to a rather small helicopter, which is why I cited the article I did to show what the Thales IMASTER really is. Old hat for Predator and Avenger UAVs.

The troll is flaying around. Already saw his bee-ess on the Griptn and now he tries desperately here. His relevance to any topic is like his math skills...  a big fat ZERO.

Now if he could stick to the subject, and learn that his lies are not facts.

Oh by the way..., Utter contempt for him.

Addendum. Swept wing Scorpion? Have discussed why this LIE is bee -ess too. No indication yet that Textron has done any CG studies to modify the straight wing turkey they have now.

And of course now that Textron admits NOW that they don't even have a certificate ready flying prototype?

ROTFLMAO! No wonder they can't sell it. Nothing will be bought that isn't US certified airworthy!

Keff, unless you plan to stop posting NOW I suggest you stop digging the hole you are in!!!! You do not want to be wrong constantly!!! The wings on the Scorpion are modular and can be switched... that has been discussed already by them when the plane was pitched to the air force... I AM SORRY if that upset you... SORRY! And the engine too could be more powerful also. Read little grasshopper!!!

let me help!!!! "The aircraft's modular design allows for the wings to be removed and replaced by different design wings" also do not forget that " Also, the wings could be made shorter and a more powerful engine added if necessary. By the way... they are increasing the swept of the wing for the production model so you know this is not such a big deal... WOW, you are brute!!!

I'm quite comfortable where I am. Let the troll keep flailing away. I know the topic has been discussed and at the time I pointed out that there would be center of gravity issues that would require recalculating the position of the wing root mate to the plane barrel which made the troll's assertion a typical Belgian truck driver lie, an aeronautical FACT which the troll at the time did not understand, and which the troll hopes now I conveniently forgot. I didn't forget it and he did. See red for the damned lie he tries to repeat here from the last time I showed he was an utter fool.

What a liar. ROTFLMAO.
