Interesting. Eastern Libya exports oil? Egypt needs oil. Egypt depends on Saudis for oil? But Egypt isn't trying to get a sweetheart oil deal with HoR? Do the Russians look smart here whike the US looks clueless? Not good "optics" for our country! But "smart diplomacy" I suppose. Maybe one consequence of the Barack Hussein presidency will be disgusted dissolutionment with everything international in the Trump era.

In the last paragraph 620 kms "west" should be east! And 20 further " west" again should be east.
