I've got a couple old "Commando's" somewhere. They aren't booksize though.

Commando (Commando For Action and Adventure) is still published, think that they recently published story number 3000, though they have just re-printed older stories.
Battle, Victor & Warlord all died of in the early 1990's, think that they merged them all together.
They all went out of fashion around the same time that PC started to become fashionable, being nice to ones enemy, not owning toy guns etc.

Actually Commando did encourage being nice to one's enemy-when you were taking a break from stomping on him that is.
