Subject: Fords suck monkey balls
Yimmy    2/24/2007 9:52:51 AM
My 02 reg Ford Fiesta Finesse broke down for the second time yesterday. I have only had the ruddy thing since last April. First time the power steering died, and this time the engine management coils died. So Fords suck, and as a result of unreasonable association, all American cars suck. Do I buy myself a Harley Sporster, or a Triumph America?

Ford Fiesta Finesse? That's a cheap American copy of a cheap Japanese copy of a cheap Ford.
I have a 98 f150 V8 and a 00 f150 V6....Both are regular;ly used, abused, neglected, punished, etc...I swear by 'em.
I had a Ford Explorer..slightly different in that it blew monkeyballs.
I avoid the bikes. Cars *always* win.

Oh, and the EU sucks too.

The 125 miles I had yet to cover after breaking down, which would have taken but an hour and a half or so, took decades.  Thanks to the EU regulating the vehicle carrying me home to 56 miles per hour.

Thankyou EU and your poxy regulations.

Mate, since when does the EU regulate speed limits?  I drive a Ford also - and like yours, it will probably be my last - but I can do 220 km legally in it.

Contrary to popular British belief, the EU is not the source of all your problems.

Apparantly these new speed regulations are coming into effect on the 1st of April.  HGV's are now at I think 90kph.

So yes boys and girls, that means you will see much more of an HGV in the second lane moving at 57mph, trying to overtake an HGV in the first lane moving at 56.5mph, and causing congestion for all.

Mmm, that's strange, Germany doesn't have an official speed limit and most certainly won't be getting one in April.  I'm not sure about trucks/lorries - I believe they're allowed to go as fast as cars because I don't recall seeing speed limits specifically for them.

So, I was just watching the news, and apparantly dodgy fuel being sold recently has caused cars to suffer a loss of power, and the engine miss-fire.

My car the other day, had the engine miss-fireing, and I couldn't get it over 50mph, with only very low revs.

So I take it back.  Ford, I am sorry, your cars don't utterly suck.

Damn you petrol....

In the 60s there was the Ford GT which rocked, and the Capri which had late 70s cop show cred...and in the 80s, the Orion...oh dear...

Hey, not all Ford's suck. Only the ones from Ford America.

Funnily enough, Ford Australia builds damn good cars and are popular in Oz/NZ, yet some of the worst cars imported into Oz would have to be the Ford Probe, Cougar, Taurus (the worst by far) and Mustang.
