Do any of our fine British people know if they still bury soldiers in St. Paul's Cathedral.

Not so far as I'm aware. They'd run out of space PDQ if it was a regular occurance.

I don't think soldiers have ever been routinely buried in St Paul's.  My understanding is it's like Westminster Abeey, burials (actually I think the correct term in interment) and is only for people of great note.

It's only in the last 30 years or so that UK has taken to repatriating the bodies of KIA.  Most lie in CWGC cemetaries around the world.

Myself, if I were to die on operations I think I would rather be buried where I fell with my mates who died with me, rather than have my body dragged across the globe just to be buried in England.

Ah, I recently visited there.  I saw some memorials to soldiers who died in recent conflicts, but don't remember seeing any graves of recently interned soldiers.  Just curious, that's all, thank you for answering.

Memorials are a totally different matter to burial/interment.  UK is currently establishing a national memorial to all the service men and women who have died since VP-Day 1945.
