"It's just willingness and force to install one's will." Yelli, the UK has neither the willingness (let alone the desire) nor the force to take Australia. As for NZ, you have to go through or past Oz to get there. Pull the other one - it plays jingle bells. Cheers.

I don't know about any annexing going on, but I would rather like for there to be freedom of movement in the COmmonwealth, much like there is in Europe today under the EU. Er, actually, maybe just the first world nations of the Commonwealth.

There isn't freedom of movement in the EU. The UK is alone among major EU countries who have opened our labour market to workers from Eastern Europe. How many Poles have moved to France recently? Normally, EU citizens can travel freely to settle and work in other member states. The 15 existing members were allowed to operate controls on migration from the new states for up to seven years. Uk did not impose restrictions unlike the other major EU countries.

Heh, England Drop, is probably the only 1st world nation in the United Kingdom. I doubt Wales, Scottland or Northern Ireland make the grade GDP wise etc.

The hope of the plant to surive with any sense of personal freedom depends upon the the moral and intellectual unification of Australia, Great Britain, India, New Zealamd the United States and perhaps Canada but I fear she has been so corrupted by the Quebecois faction that the best that can be hoped is that she'll be neutral even though she will benefit from the sacrifices of the others.

Tale    GDP Fun Facts   8/14/2006 6:31:01 PM
I doubt Wales, Scottland or Northern Ireland make the grade GDP wise etc Actually Scotland has an annual GDP of £82Bn (2004 est) or about US $155Bn. That constitutes about about 8% of the UKs total GDP and funnily enough Scotland has about 8% of the UKs total population. In terms of comparison Scotland far outperforms New Zealand and is at about the same level as Finland. In terms of unemployment and economic growth Scotland is pretty much on the UK average. Wales though, does indeed suck. Ok so I lied and those facts weren't fun but I wasn't sure what the point of the intial question so I just took an opportunity to point out that Wales sucks. Ive never forgiven them for one I horrible holiday I spent in Rhyll as a child.
