Your main responsibilities as a Commercial Executive – Real Estate
BAE Systems Shared Services is responsible for hugely complex and innovative undertakings and we require an enthusiastic and talented Commercial Executive – Real Estate to join us in Shared Services Team. Reporting into the Director Real Estate Solutions, and with a functional line report into the Commercial & Procurement Director, you will be key to:
Establishing commercial strategies in support of deals and transactions, including setting parameters for key commercial aspects such that optimal deal structures are pursued
Supporting and/or leading negotiations, including through establishing commercial positions and directing negotiation strategy and tactics to achieve those positions.
Managing senior customer/supplier interfaces for contract changes and disputes.
Supporting the Commercial & Procurement Director on specific project based activity across Shared Services
Act as a member of the Real Estate Services Management Team
Development of and support to Commercial staff across Shared Services
Your skills and qualifications
Typically educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
Acknowledged accomplishment and professional standing in a number of roles within BAE systems or a similar business.
Experience of forming and influencing commercial strategies and approaches for complex transactions in differing business environments.
Experience of effective interface with customers/suppliers at senior levels.
Preferably experience of a non-Defence contracting environment.
The candidate should have sound knowledge and experience of complex commercial deal and transaction structures, ideally across a number of commercial environments.
The candidate must be able to quickly establish and maintain a strong network with key functional and line of service colleagues, in order to understand issues and drive solutions, often through others.
The ability to challenge peers in a constructive manner to achieve better overall outcomes.
Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time, and to work with minimal levels of direction.
This is a full time role and will be based out of Westcott.
