Step back in time to the 18th century and experience what it was like to command the greatest armies of the era in Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine, now shipping worldwide. Developed for the Windows OS by the same team that brought you the Charles S. Roberts award-winning Horse and Musket, Boku Strategy Games, and published by independent games leader Shrapnel Games, Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine is the highly anticipated turn-based wargame with a strong emphasis on command and control.

Focusing on the campaigns of the legendary Frederick the Great of Prussia, Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine boasts over twenty faithfully researched scenarios, ranging from battles like Mollwitz to Chotusitz. Like most Boku Strategy Games' titles commanding the forces in Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine involves a lot more than simply pushing digital counters. Desktop generals will have to know their forces, especially their leaders, as each turn is played out via a series of leader activations. As a leader is activated troops underneath his command may move and engage the enemy. Knowing how to exploit your commanders' strengths, and your enemies' weaknesses, is the key to assuring victory on the field.

Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine comes alive with the sights and sounds of the 18th century battlefield, immersing the player in the splendor of an age long since gone. Snapping flags and historically accurate uniforms explode on your monitor in a minuet of animation and color, as troops march across the seasonal landscapes, horses rear, and cannons belch in anger. Audiophiles aren't left out either, as they will thrill to not only the sounds of war, but the fact that Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine features music written by the man himself, Frederick the Great, performed and licensed by the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra.

Besides the numerous out-of-the-box scenarios, Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine has a full-featured scenario editor and supports multiple ways to play against other humans; through hotseat, live Internet play, or PBEM (Play By Email). And if even that's not enough gaming to sate your hunger, two expansion packs, each one featuring an additional score of scenarios, will soon be released.
