Only a month away and I think you blokes kick off against the Argies. Is the excitement building in France or is it all low key at the mo? What are your predictions? Curious.

Angry, you are right.
However you underestimate Argentines who are at Ireland level.
A good number of their players play in french championship and are pretty good.
They have won over us yesterday and we feel ashamed and humiliated.
We lost mainly because of us and Argentine took opportunity.Laporte put too much pressure on our players who play in a febrile way and under their level and did a very bad coaching.
Very bad start which give us no room for mistake now.
It will pretty humilitating that our team which is in the best four underperformed in a world cup in France.
We espect it to be in final at least  or win world cup.Now it is pretty hard for them.

losing to the Argentines at the moment is nothing to be ashamed of... they are playing as a top 4 team does and are ranked below this simply because they are on the rise.

I expect them and France to qualify for last 8....  and Ireland to miss out.

although it means that your quater final could be a real toughy if you don't get 4 tries in each of your remaining games...

You were right Paul
Argentine is the outsider in the world cup and they will reach semifinal.
I like this team.
Now for France we will have a terrific encouter vs All Blacks next week.
I guess that it will be physicall and a dogfight to death.
We can win but if we do, All Blacks would have to come back in a clandestine way to Auckland if they want to avoid firesquad! LOL
For pleasure a nice Haka and the remembrance of our crushing victory vs All Blacks in 1999 at Twikenham.

I hope you beat the All Blacks but I think you have as much chance as England have of beating Australia........    ie not much... and if we were to beat Australia then I would prefer to meet France in the semi than NZ....   :-)   but either will do us in at the moment...   :-(

John O'Neill what a mug, I hope just for that England give Australia an (admittedly highly unlikely) thrashing like the one they should have recieved in 2003 except for the worst referee in the history of the game. Sherridan is going to destroy the Aussi front row so its not as one sided as most people think, England have the advantage in the Scrum and Australia in the line-out, in the backs there is no question of which side is superior and I think lumbering Farrell will be particularly outmatched by Mortlock and Giteau the most dangerous back pairing in the competition. That said Wilko may bolster with his legendary defence, he'll need to, although he needs to expand his game in particular running with the ball. I think having lewsey in at centre is a good idea as he'll give the backs some bulk as well as not a little experience.

Dices have rolled.
I'm quite pleased with the team
France: 15 Damien Traille, 14 Vincent Clerc, 13 David Marty, 12 Yannick Jauzion, 11 Cédric Heymans, 10 Lionel Beauxis, 9 Jean-Baptiste Elissalde, 8 Julien Bonnaire, 7 Thierry Dusautoir, 6 Serge Betsen, 5 Jérôme Thion, 4 Fabien Pelous, 3 Pieter de Villiers, 2 Raphaël Ibanez (c), 1 Olivier Milloud.
Replacements: 16 Dimitri Szarzewski, 17 Jean-Baptiste Poux, 18 Sébastien Chabal, 19 Imañol Harinordoquy, 20 Frédéric Michalak, 21 Christophe Dominici, 22 Clément Poitrenaud.
We had to deal with our fly-half and Michalak is not reliable in kicking at distance so Beauxis seems the right choice even it seems bery young for this match
Traille has also a massive kicking ability which is mandatory to send back all blacks in their 22 line.
Sorry for Poitrenaud who has been to unreliable it seems.
Our back row is maybe world best and our Toulouse wingers has fire!.
Strange that old guard is there like Pelous as lock.
Nallet seemed netter but I guess it is for Pelous experience.
Some would says he is quite experienced in old south west nasty traditions like dirty play in the rucks and mauls: biting, testicle-twisting, bootstud-scraping and eye-gouging without being caught by referee in order to get some All blacks to lost their temper! LOL

Whatever the psychological fight has start with the Jersey color affair .

I guess that the All Black will use the kapa o pango Haka to impress us!

Whatever it will be a nasty fight. All blacks want their 1999 revenge!
I'm pretty sure we will fight to the death!

I am going to go for the long shot of an Argentina vs Australia final....

I reckon the Argies are better than SA at the moment and that the All Blacks are the best but will bottle it against the Aussies in the semi....

I don't know really what will be final.
We will do a great fight after tomorrow and nothing is decided yet even we are the underdogs.
BTW will you see a match?
