Subject: The Mysterious Lord Plumer - A British Viscar
St. Croix Ark    1/31/2012 1:34:43 AM
Recently, I wrote a history book on the Knights of Malta. The book follows the knights from their inception in Jerusalem to the island of Malta. Lord Plumer happened to be the Governor of Malta, he was also a very high ranking Knight of Malta, no surprise there. However, Lord Plumers' convincing of the Rockefellers (with help from archaeologist James Henry Breasted in 1923) to spend millions for a "museum" that clearly stated it's sole mission was to "seek out holy relics and religious artifacts" from the Holy Lands shortly after living on Malta, does seem strange. Lord Plumer was at numerous critical points in history; from commemorating war arches in Europe to the elite halls of Buckingham Palace, he was there. His bio reads like a Wikipedia of war honors. At pivotal historical events he was not only there, he was leading the processions. There is much more to this man's life, too many details that are too big to over look, yet too many to do him the justice he deserves in just one post. Yet, at the very end of his life, he destroys several personal journals of his life by his own hand. One must ask, what was in his memoirs, what was he trying to hide? Or better yet, what didn't he want us to know? Any input from someone who may know more would be appreciated, or conversely, should you know of the whereabouts of his diaries - kidding - he did destroy them, right?
