Obviously not first hand, but I remember reading in "One perfect op" about a training op the SK UDT guys and SEALs had. Basically, they were doing a long combat dive and with about 3-1/2 minutes left, one of the SK UDT guys tank fouled up. So, he swam the remaining 3-1/2 minutes underwater (obviously) without any air. Also, the next night, a SK UDT officer was disciplining one of his guys by beating him over the head (hard) with an oar. Also, the SK UDT selection course is very similar to BUD/S. So I agree 100%.

I've never heard anything about Taiwan's SOF. I'm sure they probably have a Ranger type element and a Tier 1 force who has sub-units trained in DA/Recce/Combat swimming/etc. 

   You yanks are so thick!! I think if you look into the history you will find that Oz SF`s are trained by the British along with other SF`s around the world.(British Soverign Country`s).

 

Along with SEAL`s you`ll find that back in 68 the yanks asked the British SB`s to train voluntary U.S soldiers Gurilla warfare. Thus being now called SEAL Teams and I bet you won`t find that fact on the >
