Mough, I remember a while back in a post you mentioned that you knew a SEAL who completed the SEAL pipeline while having Asthma (obviously not waiverable). Any info on how he did it? See, heres the thing, It's very possible that my medical condition is not waiverable and not 'enterable' (due to the MEPS losers), and I still plan on pursuing my dreams. I have a rough plan in place based around deceiving the MEPS b@stards, I could share that if anyone is interested (not that anyone is). So any info on how your friend made it into the pipeline would be awesome. Feel free to add in any motivational stories aswell lol, as this is sort of a tough time for me. I just want my shot at BUD/S, I'm willing to go through h3ll just to get my chance at the pipeline, so any info/advice would help.

Alright guys, found out some news regarding this that I didn't previously know. If I join the Navy, and make it through MEPs and not tell them about my condition, then I'm still defeated because I'd have to take a dive and flight physical, which means (among other tests) that I'd have to be put under and EKG machine...and obviously be found out. As someone posted on another forum, "A mans got to know his limits"...I gotta be smart and realize I'm beat here and move on. It's just a job and there are other awesome jobs out there (LE has some great options and they don't have a problem with my condition).

It usually involves a course involving various physical, man-made obstacles, such as balance beams, cargo nets, rope climbs, etc.
Sounds like an assault course, apart from the rope climb.

Yeah, except your not carrying a heavy pack, web gear, a light machine gun and ammo. Basically, from the 'confidence courses' I've seen, it's basically like a grown up jungle gym. You guys want to see a mean obstacle course, then look at the monstrosity they have at BUD/S (the O-course). If you guys want to see a grown up jungle gym, then check out the Airforce's confidence course.

Well, you don't need to carry weapon and webbing to go over an assaut course.  That would be rather starting in the deep end.

I don't know about having burgens on too.  Some people find it hard enough to get over the 6 ft wall as it is lol.

Yeah, I'm sure most of the time you don't carry all of that gear, but I've heard that some of the Teams even go as far as having a M-60 assualt course (with regular gear allotment).

That 6ft wall could be extremely tough with gear, heck I know people who couldn't get over the 6ft wall with absolutely no gear or extra weight.
