The SRR is used obviously for reconisiance missions but do the missions just before the sas,sbs or other unit (special forces or non sf) go in to complete an objective. This was to save the sas or sbs having to do it themselfs instead of planning and rehearsing the mission they'll be doing.does that answer your question.
