Nancy Pelosi will be the Speaker of the House for the 112th Congress. This question basically poses two questions - - 1, Will the Republicans have the majority after the 2010 elections? - 2, Will the Democrats, if they hold the majority, re-elect Pelosi as the Speaker again? Due to the election being the deciding factor, this question will close out on the day prior to the election.

When this prediction was made, the settlement date was listed as right before the 2010 elections. I believe that the intent of the prediction was to have it settled for after the election. As a result, I will be extending the settlement date for just after the election. This is especially important in light of the vote on health care that is taking place.
