without the USSR, britain would have eventually fallen. north africa would hve been re-invaded and taken over. it would have baisicaly been a war of japan+Germany vs USA, in which the US would have probably been crushed, unless it resorted in using the nuclear bomb on a daily baisis. if the US hadn't entered the war, as CanadianBaron said, ussr and britain would have probebly won eventually, but would suffer massive casualties and an economical dissaster, and that is asuming that japan does nothing. if japan had attacked and invaded the USSR instead of Pearl Harbour, europe would have fallen.

This is all bull, if the US wasn't in the war the USSR would have (if at all) barely won. If USSR wasn't in the war, the US would most likely have also barely won (if at all). In fact, if USSR wasn't in the war, the argument can be made, the US would not have joined in. They would see Germany's very clear advantage and try to avoid conflict with Germany (though probably not Japan). So let's agree, the US and the USSR had each other's back, and therefore, the Americans and the Soviets are all awesome. Except for the Brits, those limeys suck!

USA would have pounded japen but naval and germany from air. Also 1942-1943 and on usa tanks where better then the germans pazers (besides the panther/tiger) but by 1945 usa matched the pather/tiger with the m26 and a few months later would have built the T28 with a 105mm gun which outclassed all germany tanks. I agree it would have been harder if the ussr wasnt in the war or the other way around but overall the allies would have won even if germany didnt invaded russia most likey they wouldnt have gotting accross the sea. USA would have never been defeated in ww2 thats a fact we could make 20+ planes for one made by the axis same thing for tanks and for the navy 60+ over japen. even if the usa coulnt invaded frace germany or japen coulnt even touch the usa with land forces b/c our navy.

Well...Hitler intended all along to attack Russia. He just wanted to settle things with the French before he did so. Hitler couldn't understand why the Brits just didn't roll over and let Hitler have a free hand in the east. true, the US did a very strong ecconomy, but think of it this way. if germany didn't invade USSR, Britain would have eventualy fallen, giving germany the oportunity to bomb the american industial regions, which would have injured their economy. the main reason that the american ecconomy was so much stronger than that of the res of the world during WW2 is because its' industrial regions wern't torn apart by bombs.
