Actually If you saty tuned with the news you could see a big rise in russian economy from selling its oil........to Europe and the US, as for its millitary they have incresed millitary spending by over 5 percent and still have some nice technology that is brand new and packs a punch OR COULD pack a puch if they get more numbers of them and that all goes back to the economy if it gets higher then the millitary does too and ass for the people oh buddy you dont know the russians then If you say they dont have the national support.They may hate the war in chechnia but they still would love so that their country would become a superpower again......and im shure this man does too thats why hes doing all this, his name is..........Vladiimir Putin

Well US is stuck with Bush for wile so dont expect the US foreign deplomacy to have any posetive efect on any country. Especialy Russia. So its really up to Russia to decide weather or not to get into a cold war. I dont think Russia wants a Cold War II.(and it cant aford it nomater how much the oil prices go up) However IMO it would be good for the world to have a second superpower b/c competition(of the friendly veriaty) is always good. At the very least it would keep Bush from invading anyone...
