NYMAS Friday Lecture, Sept. 15th: "Switzerland 1799: Turning Point of the French Revolutionary Wars" On Friday, September 15th, Alex Stavropolis, of the CUNY Graduate Center, will speak on "Switzerland 1799: Turning Point of the French Revolutionary Wars," one of the most critical, and most overlooked campaigns in the long "French Wars." NYMAS Lectures, which are free to the public, are held at the CUNY Graduate Center, in the former B. Altman Building, on Fifth Avenenue at 34th Street, diagonally across from the Empire State Building. Talks begin at 7:00 and last about two hours.
