Tali-Ihantala is in Carelian isthmus closeby Vyborg(Or Viipuri). In tali Ihantala Sovs wanted to make brakthru through finnish lines. But at the time finns could consentrate the fire of 21 artillery batallions into single point if needed (Finnish artillery shoots by batallions IE 12 guns as the rest did at that time 4 gun batteries ) And to cut long story short Finnsih artillery cut the Soviet breakthru army into ribbons. What here was/is remarable was that nobody else could do that kind of consentration at that time. Sovs had the guns not the systems.
