What animals would be useful as Super Beast Soldiers? This question is related to my Super Beast Soldiers topic.

My main suggestions would be the following:
Chimpanzees: Excellent climbing, generally good mobility similar to humans in most respects. Best for operations in jungle terrain. Easiest to implement because of similarity to human genetic code.
Wolves: Very good cross country mobility and speed in most terrain types. Very good cross country endurance. Very good natural senses especially smell. Natural pack tendency--better for grunts than cats.
Leopards or Jaguars: Excellent cross country mobility and speed in most terrain types, includes excellent jumping and climbing ability. Poor endurance at speed. Excellent natural senses including vision. Weak pack tendencies--possibly better for commandos or assassins.
Otters: Good for amphibious operations

Dogs and Dolphins have proven their worth on many occasions. Dogs as sniffers and suicide bombers (WWII, they were taught to search for food under tanks ... boom!) and Dolphins for attaching limpit mines.

You could teach a bird to act as a UAV with modern camera technology.

I never knew about the suicide dogs, but I've always liked the idea of a suiceide squirrel, fast, small, mobile, and a real pain in the ass to hit.

Your bird UAV idea would work with homing pigeons. Sneek a single man into a target area with a couple of homing pigeons. Release the pigeons, the pigeons fly 'home' and videotape everything they fly over on thier way out. Great for nations or groups who can't afford UAVs. Even better if you don't have satellites and positively don't want the enemy to know that your watching them. Third world CIA or KGB types perhaps?

Your leapords and Jaguars may not have a good pack mentality, but a nice harem of female lions might be a little more suitable. I hear they get pretty aggressive when they don't have a male around to protect the young from marauding single males.

Parasite species could make a  nice addtion to the mix. You could lace a swampy or boggy area with disease infected mosquitos as an area denial tool, or secretly release a good number of diseased rats onto an enemy base.
