I know this is a military discussion board but I thought I should ask this There was a Turkic state in west of Hazar sea called Khazars. These guys were Turkic, they've converted into Judaism with the influence of Jews in the region. These Turkics later settled in East Europe and as I know mostly these "askenazi" were killed by Hitler.TheY're the founders of Yiddish rgiht? So does this mean some Jews have Turkic origins?A lot of Jews do not seem like semite either

How are Turks Jewish? Only Shem equals Jewishness! Even though Sara was an"Hitite', who is a descedent of Canaan and Ham. And was

Abram's wife etc.

____________________________________________________________________________ Jewishness comes from Jacob. However that is neither here nor there as lots of tribes allow adoption as well as ancestry to be a criteria in membership-including Scottish clans. If no foreigners are allowed then Ruth cannot be allowed which means David was not a "true" Jew.

Oh yes and Soloman had an Ethiopean bride-"bride", not concubine, which presumably meant her children could be accounted Israelites even though she was from Ham. Shirrush, yes it may not have deserved an answer and it is an old and rather annoying argument(besides reflecting bad connotations on the Khazar empire which was a great and civilized state). However it amused me to give an answer.

Also, please explain the Indian-looking Jews of India, and the Chinese-looking Jews of China, let alone the Falasha of Ethiopia, with very ancient traditions. Religious wingnut at work.

He seems one of those Jewish equivalents of the religious wingnuts. Incoherent, prone to delusions of persecution, and hard to follow.

Actually the first probably came from intermarriages with traders across Central Asia and the second from intermarriage with traders across the Indian Ocean. It can sometimes get you a bit how far people really did travel even then.

No I didn't. I am just compulsively pendantic even when others are joking. My brothers noticed it too.

*cough*I don't understand what you guys are saying.I'm not saying Jews are Turks but some people MAY have Turkic origins.I mean what happened to population Khazars then?
And I was just asking, it seems like an arguable thing.I'm not changing history of Jews are anything.
I just said some Jews may have Turkic roots, and that makes them non-Jews

I don't have a great knowledge about this so I asked
