most of those studies to my mind are revisionist nonsense. There WERE and ARE no separate ethnic group of people called Palestinians. Most people who call themselves such were ethnic arab immigrants to the mandate from syria, lebanon and egypt in the 1920s, following economic prosperity brought about by Jewish industry and revitalization of the land. I would be curious for you to cite your sources- Im pretty well-versed in this area- it was my area of studies in college along with Soviet studies - and most of the stuff I read that you mention coem from Arab or pro-Arab revisionists, who are trying to show that the Jews have no ties to the land - hence, muddy the waters. This documentary Aired on the australian ABC and i also read it online in a article i will endeavour to find it for you. Also the doco contended that the reason the bible stories of Moses and such were written were to bring the people together who were mainly traders and a such who really didnt indetify with any specific nation or peoples. the great story of them being the chosen people who rose up and freed themselves. Then also attacked and reclaimed Jeruslaem for themselfs. These scientists say there is absolutly no evidence at all of a large scale invasion or any invasion. At first they though maybe the jews just migrated and assimilated with the kaninites but as they looked more and more at the evidence the more obvious it seemed to them that the Jews didnt invade because they were allready there they were Kaninites.
