Invisible weapons don’t cost anything to print. Just don’t attack them and you’ll be fine, on the other hand if you do you’ll probably kill “innocent civilians.” v^2

did u say lucky? they are next on the u.s list.and guess what, this time around there will be israel and other new friends working on this menace.every tom, dick and harry doesn't have the right to have such weapons in their arsneal simply because they lack the responsibility that comes with it and because they are states that have weak and irrational foundations based on out of date islamic theolgies. looking back at recent history, islamic states have often resorted to short-sighted tactics of defying world bodies and strike a pose which would up the national fervor and tend to muslims sense of being technologically and militarily inferior, but in reality its main purpose is to mask the deep sense of fear and insecurity and military incompetence.its a game they often play to mislead the world into thinking they have "the capability".saddam did something similar and the result-he ended up in a spiderhole.does iran want to end up in a similar situation is for the iranian leadership to decide.

Do you truely think the US will attack Iran? Unless, as mentioned, they get other Allies on board (at least politically) - most notably France and Germany - I don't see the US risking this. On the other hand, with the rhetoric coming out of Iran, combined with their daily announcements of new weapons designed to "scare" the west, it would seem foolish not to take them seriously and attack soon. Personally however, I don't think the west has the fortitude ("guts") to do what may have to be done. Obviously, thats what the Iranians believe as well, and they're using the media to thumb their noses at, and show they can threaten the west. With each of these they seek to show themselves as strong and the west as weak, thereby strengthening their importance in the Islamic world. I believe they've won, and they will ultimately control a region including Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. Unless of course the West and Israel do wisen up...

My guess is a sense of inadequacy. The mullahs have to puff themselves up and show how big their cojones are, so they can go home and brag about it to their buddies. They take comfort in their own reading of the Koran, and try to assure each other that the US or Israel won't simply say "screw world opinion" and flatten Tehran. They may be right on the latter, but given their hysterical assurances that, yes, we are tough and crazy, better watch out, it shows that they are easily as afraid of us as we are of them. What's really annoying is their lack of historical knowledge. Hitler, Nasser, and Saddam all tried this "don't mess with me" attitude, and each person came a'cropper because of it.

Maybe is just posturing, maybe a mix of semi working new tech rushed into the open to look strong. BTW Iran today also announce the successful test of the high speed under water anti ship missile. The article is on CNN

There's an article on the so-called "high speed" underwater missile in this morning's Sydney Morning Herald. Link here: http://smh.com.au/news/WORLD/Iran-tests-its-war-technology/2006/04/03/1143916431915.html
