I checked data on wiki and their are reliable:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hellenic_Air_Force_aircraft
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Air_Force
Check ammunitions especially BVR missiles .Moreover greec have already AWACs.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Army
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_equipment_of_the_Hellenic_Army
You see .Both force are close but greec enjoy a superiority in air combat and also tank quality, Stingers, MRLS, antitank Apache etc..
How could you expect to achieve superiority in such a terrain?

Well it's all up to the differences of these models
What is the difference between LEO2a4-LEO2a6(is it that superior)
and F-16 block 50-block 52
And I was shocked to see the difference between attacking helicopters! But again we're going to buy some stuff from EU soon-They were some Italian stuff I geuss not sure
I still think our air force can beat Greek air force though
The AA systems on Aegean Islands can be taken out I guess-even can be captured
Anyway we're going to buy 100 JSFs
About the tank difference-well Germans have been causing problems about it all the time
Thats why we're producing our own tanks, the prototype will be ready in a few years if there won't be any problem

I believe that turkey has the better air force with 100 F-35's on order and more numberus F-16's they also have israeli (upgraded) F-4's so it definitely has the weapondry to beat greece but who get more flying time and better trainer i don't know but turkey will probably gain air suppority in a war with greece and since that would be true the greek navy would be neutalized making it a land war who wins? I wouldn't know greece has a tradition and the weapondry to stalling a enemy in land wars.

Yeah believe Turkish air force can take them out too.Turkish pilots are known as the some of the bests in the world. The thing is Greeks also have very skilled pilots.
The difference between Leos are not that big thing I guess but not sure
THey sure have better attacking helicopters and better anti tank and anti air weapons
But still infantry is very important
Turkey has commando brigades and experinced troops.Troops who have seen real firefights.Greek almost have none
But being the defensive force is a giant advantege espcially with a landscape like that.
I thoughh Turkey could beat Greece easier but after looking at their inventroy I hesitated
But I still think we can beat them in the long term.Greek wouldn't be able to fight for a long time

I mostly hate the way DA boosts American equipment superiority (well, often they are superior but I'm not convinced that they are THAT superior). Now then on that another thread (SH part2) DA hold hi-ground against FS's speculations and boosting of his country's equipment, even if nobody is (this time) arguing that his country's equipment is of poor quality. (only that it's not the best). Then in here FS seems to analyze situation rationally without any passion while kane speculates and boosts his home country bride while nobody is saying that his country is inferior (only that it's not superior).
There's nothing bad with national pride, but can you self notice it?

:) well yes I notice it
But I can't stop myself
I realize what I have posted after reading it
You should have seen me before even I laugh when I read what I have posted
The thing is most of the people on earth do not like Turks and think that we're backwards. So I feel like I have a big role in here but in fact I don't.What will change when I prove that Turks are not bad?
:) but you're right. No one said anything, but if there was a Greek around here the heat would be much more
And I'm just 16 so-I can hide behind it-I'm a young nationalist don't blame me

Hi there!
I'm a Greek. Two things I want to say: First of all, I wish Turkey weren't so bad neighbour. I don't mean the people but the military that still has all the power in this country. I wish we wouldn't have to spend so much money on military equipment so that we could spend more on education, health etc. Secondly, I don't think that equipment is all that important. Look at the Brits: Not so great equipment, but very good trained soldiers make a very good army. Common knowledge in Greece and in Turkey is that Greece has better quality soldiers, because of the better average cultural level of greek population, while Turkey has the best officers, because a military career in Turkey has a good prestige and attracts good people. In general, both countries have badly trained armies and the two joined together wouldn't put in an hypothetical scenario more resistance against an US invasion that the Iraquis did. And if you ask me I don't want an inch of turkish soil. I wouldn't know what to do with it. Best regards.
