Subject: KC130's too old?

Shouldn't the Air force be making the replacement of their aerial "gas stations" a priority over the F22? I'd hate to see us with the most advanced fighters in the world landlocked because of the shortage of in-flight refuelers.

The USAF is already starting a program to replace the KC-135 with converted 767's. Military transports have a long life, as they are not run as much as their civilian counterparts. They are mainly constrained by the lack of spares.
