Subject: biggest nukes

probably hydrogen but how about a 10 megaton atomic bomb?whats the biggest in the us,ussr,france etc.say if you dropped a 10 megaton bomb on a city how many square miles would be destoyed physically?take la metro its like 1500 sq miles of nothing but one big city.

Is still likely when in 1946 a ship loaded with nitrate fertilizer caught fire dockside in Texas City, near Houston. It is believed that when hosing the fire with water did not work the ships captain ordered the hatches closed and had live steam pumped into the hold. Since no one on the ship or dock survived this is strictly conjecture.

The Tsar bomb was bigger than planned. A recent study puts the blast at over 75 Mt. It was a pys. and politcal blast. The Russians and the US, castle Bravo shot, where both very lucky. Both shots where much bigger than planned. Researchers, on both sides, took a real hard look at their testing programs. Bob
