Subject: Author seeks background information on surprise nuclear attack by Russia
michaelmullen    8/26/2006 2:23:14 AM
Hopefully I have found a group of people such as yourselves who are knowledgeable in hypotheticl nuclear war. I am writing a book based upon the Bible's projection in Ezekiel 38 that Russia will attack Israel supported by all the Muslim nations, while Russia neutralizes America with a surprise first strike with everything they have. Please, I do NOT want to discuss the probabilities of this happening. The Bible says it will, and it will be the biggest tactical error in history of warfare. The USA retaliation will turn 5/6 of Russia to dust. Also, Ezekiel says that most of Russia's missiles (arrows) will fall harmlessly. Supernaturally, or simply because they don't work. Okay. THAT is the PREMISE of the book. Please go with me on this. ============================================================ NOW... Let us PRETEND that this scenario happens. Would any of you please tell me what Russia would throw at us? What nuclear arsenal would they shoot? Could you describe the weaponry? How would it be delivered? Which, if any, weaponry would make it thru our defense systems? What would the resulting damage be to America with the FEW that did get thru and hit us? Then after the Russian scenario, and describing their attack, what would the USA retaliation consist of? I know the results according to the Bible. Russia is wiped off the map, leaving only one-sixth. But HOW would this happen? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, if you would participate and help me. I will be sure to give you a mention in the book for your help.

My favorite verses in the bible are It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood. (Leviticus 3:17)
For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. (Leviticus 17:14)
It's against the Bible to eat Gravy and Fried Foods!!! I love talking about this over Thanksgiving dinner! Pass me some more sausage stuffing and the gravy please!

The "...fall harmlessly...because they don't work." Part might not be too far off, IIRC, there was a study done on the failure rate of Soviet ICBMs, and by some (probably way too liberal) estimates, up to 2/3rds of all Soviet launched missiles would fail to detonate. I'm not too sure this would be true, and I certainly wouldn't want to base my strategy on it, but it bears some keeping in mind. We've known for awhile the Soviets couldn't target their missiles as accurately as the US, and this was probably one of the reasons they felt the need to maintain a larger stockpile than the US during the cold war (another of course being the reliability question, still another being the first strike issue, so who knows?) I think given Russia's current state with soldiers who haven't been paid in months and the state of disrepair of her military, the reliability issue may be more relevant than it was in the Cold War days...

In any case, I think our response today would be in proportion (or disproportion, since any retaliation would probably be considered "disporportionate" by a increasingly retarded international community) to the attack. If Russia did a full committal in hopes of taking the US out of any war with Israel, one could expect we'd probably reply in kind with our entire arsenal, even if the entire Russian volley didn't successfully reach their targets (which would probably get us in hot water internationally, but since when has something we've done not put us in that spot?) If it was a limited strike in which a single city we didn't care much about, say San Francisco (ducks) were destroyed, the response would probably be a lot less, and might not even involve nukes (though unlikely).

I'm all for using the bible as a guide to how one should behave, but if we start using it to make foreign, military, or strategic policy, we'll get ourselves in a lot of trouble very fast.

The profecies and revelations in the "Biblios" must to be read in the appropiated context.

When people just try to interpreted it literaly, falls in the same mistake as any other fundamentalist.

The Bible is not just an historical book, is in fact an spiritual book.

Before to read it, its neccesary to understand the diference.

Any way, Russia attacking first? sounds great for a book in the 80s ,but today I woudn't buy it.

Mr. Mullen,

When you have a chance go to globalsecurity.org and look up Russian Weapons of Mass Destruction. There is alot of very good documentation about Russian systems and ICBM history. Ezekiel aside, Russian systems are not as good as US equipment but there are alot of them.

what you have to remember when quoting any 4000 year old book as a prediction of anything, mostly they are wrong.
if you wanted to know about neolithic genocide techniques, experts.
sheep herding, probably better than anyone alive today.
nuclear war?
these people thought that houses could get leprosy.
and as for proving that certain nations are players from out of the bible,, what?
you may as well be quoting nostradamus.
since that particular fakir wrote his quatrains he has supposedly predicted hitler and napoleon but the predictions were the same verse- just re-interpreted to suit the audience that was around at the time..
these desert savages who wrote 'gog and magog' didnt have a clue either.
