Russian T90 vs American M1A2 Abrams - Which is better? If these tanks fought in battle, which would suffer more casualties, which one is superior? What are their advantages? Any information would be helpful.

t-90 vs m1a2
3/5/2014 6:29:47 AM
The manufacturing problems were more common during the Soviet Union and during the Russian Federation as their doctrines have changed. The Soviet Union practised quantity over quality (although the T-34 85 was pretty reliable for its time)
while the Russian Federation' doctrine is the opposite.
I do not agree that the T-72 was 'thrashed' by the inferiority of the T-72 to the M1A1 but rather the fact that most Iraqi commanders did not even think the NATO forces could arrive as quickly as they did and so assumed they were friendly until the last minute. Remember, 4 M1A1s were lost despite the tank being advanced for its time.

*WOW* When you put it like that then, I agree four whole M-1's were knocked out...as compared to how many T-72's?
