I am not sure that American M1 will be a good choice for Ukraine. Its ground pressure is >1 kg/cm2, and that is more than a soldier's foot GP, i.e., it will be less mobile than the infantry in Ukrainian mud flats. All the sophisticated fire control will not help if the tank cannot get to the battle line. Leopard has a lower GP and is a better choice. Bradley would have even better GP and mobility and could provide better support for the infantry. It is going to be a serious consideration a month from now.
