Subject: Congress Sure isn't Winning

According to a new Gallup Poll American confidence in Congress is at an all time low. They are now ranked at 14% confidence, below the 15% confidence of HMOs. And writing the office of the Vice President out of the budget isn't going to make them any more popular. Regardless what people think of the VP, congress still looks petty and vindictive.

By comparison, the US Military got a 69% approval rating.

And my confidence in the American public is also at an all-time low.  If only all the pathetic sheeple out there who have so little confidence in their Congress would take some action and vote for non-encumbants.  They don't have to vote for politicians from other parties, if that's the problem.  Just go to the polls in June instead of November, and vote in the primary for the other guy... some other guy... any other guy.

If the surge succeeds, a lot of folks in Congress will be looking like they were trying to to snatch defeat from the jaws of fictory. Not a good position. Hillary already sees the danger. She is trying to have it both ways, criticizing the administration but saying the Military is doing its job, the question is will she succeed or look like a two faced career political operative?

2008 could be an interesting election in Congress as well as the White House.

The American people aren't stupid. We are in an interregnum. The left has the information levers but there is a seething anger in the electorate that it misjudges. The first PARTY that comes up with a half assed sensible NATIONAL positive program is going to trounce the other in the upcoming election cycles-just not 2008 where I am beginning to smell a split paralyzed government as we have now. The unhappy electorate just doesn't see anybody with a programn except more of the same corruption, except in spades.

One honest man.
