There was an episode of "Fauda" where it was indicated that there is a sort of permanent tension between Bedouins and Arabs who call themselves "Palestinians".

@trenchsol there is that. Bedouin are nomads and lived in deserts for the last 2000 years (at least). That includes Negev and Sinai. They do not care who runs the state as long as they are left alone. Palestinians are newcomers with a different ideology and goals. They have a very different relationships with the State of Israel.

As far as I remember there was a young Arab who wanted to become a boxer, but joined Hamas instead. His Hamas friends were not happy because he had a Bedouin girlfriend.
