I would have to compare training methods of armies around the world to tell which ones are the best trained.

Though I wouldn't be suprised if some parts of the US army would end up being the best trained based on the following:
- The US makes the most use of simulators technology to train their army, not just for planes, but for tanks and infantry also. (I consider this a war winning technology.)
- The US has large training ranges and the money to spend on fuel and ammo used in training.
- The US has recent combat experience in insurgency fighting (winning the pece in Iraq) and conventional fighting (conquering Iraq).

the british army has the best training, the most experience in COIN (ulster,0man. malaya, cyprus, palestine, kenya etc.), us has 1.5 million active troops and spends $548.9 billion , uk has 196,000 active and spends $70 billion so money per soldier is equal.

Oh most definitely, unless, of course, you're Italian, then the Italian Army is the best trained, or unless you're German, or Israeli, or Russian, or Luxembourgeoise...not really a topic that can be answered is it?

I would ask if the Brit's have a JRTC/NTC/CMTC or the like...simply having a "history" of success is not the same thing as being the best trained....

<3. The US Army is 5 times the size of the US Marines...> thats not true. the U.S. Army has 250,000 troops approximately, the Marine Corps. has roughly 200,000 troops.   you have no idead what youre talking about.

h!!p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Army

"As of August 31, 2007, the Regular Army reported a strength of 519,472 soldiers.[2] By the end of 2006, the Army National Guard (ARNG) reported 346,288 and the United States Army Reserve (USAR) reported 189,975, putting the approximate combined component strength total at 1,055,734.[3]"

The USMC will be at 202,000 in the next few years. Are there such things as National "Marine" Guard and or US Marine Reserves to include in these figures?

Considering that elements of the British Army (i.e. the paras) train the US special forces,
i would have to say that there is no doubt the British Army is the best trained in the world -
they go for quality not quantity but the US army uses a combination of a little quality and a
little quantity and would probably win in a fight. I am an American and i will admit the Brits are better trained!

Since elements of the US mechanized forces also trained US Special Forces, a number of my friends hunted A-teams during Reforgers, and since the Danish Home Forces also hunted Special Ops forces, according to postings on this site, I'd then conclude that US Mechanized Forces and Danish Home Defense Troops are ALSO the best trained...also the fact that many non-combat MOS' are involved in training US Special Forces would, by this "logic" make them equally as well-trained....

What do you mean by "train" US Special Forces...the fact that they fall out of planes together?  Wouldn't that just as easily mean that the US forces are training the Brit's?  So what is being taught or what is actually happening is rather critical to your discussion.  Please elucidate on to what subjects the British Par's are training the US Forces, and please demonstrate the arrow only points one way, i.e., that the British forces are imparting knowledge to the US forces and that the reverse doesn't happen, or that the bulk of information passed is one-way, Brit-to-American.

I have no doubt that a Para unit coming from a jungle deployment or from Afghanistan has lots to teach ANYONE, but that doesn't mean that the Para's are "better trained" only that they are more experienced in one thing or area....and that the Para's wouldn't benefit equally from training from a US or other nation unit, were they deploying to an area they were unfamiliar with.

well thats because ur navy seals your best and had to do a joint op with the royal marines and do u know why that is? its because the usmc is not good enough to be put with the rm, my mate is in the rm and has been to afgan and he said when they did joint ops u yanks had 2 send ur seals as ur usmc slowed the rm down, and evan are territorial army the retards are better than rangers and marines, there you go yes the your seals done probly done better thats like putting the sas with ur usmc the sas would show them up.
