Advodate of reason. If you haven't used the equipment extensively don't coment. I carried and used the C-7 for seven years and it is the finest 5.56 rifle I have ever handled. I sometimes fired 2-300 rounds a day for weeks on end and never had a stoppage. For years. I will admit that that is rare, and I was luckier than most, but a well adjusted C-7 will fire dozens of magazines without jamming/cleaning. Maybe the one you handled had a mechanical problem. If one of the soldiers in my section had a rifle that jammed 3 times in one mag, that mag would get stomped and the weapon sent to a weps tech. The canadian army has all kinds of kit and weapons deficiencies but the C-7 isn't one of them..

Tactically speaking WWI Canadian troops were some of the most feared troops by the germans. Canadian Troops were known as the Allies shock troops and any movement of Canadian troops into a frontline position was almost always considered to be a move to attack. I'd also Rank Russians very highly as feared warriors. If we are talking guerilla warfare or third world warfare I'd have to rank some of the tribal groups in Africa as very fearful. (pretty fearful to be caught by one of those groups have your heart cut out of you while your still alive and watch them drink your blood udring your last few breaths)

I suggest the Turkish army should also be considered as a "most feared". The bravery of the Turkish brigade during Korea held off the Chinese armies for days, allowing the Allies to regroup from chaos and respond. Most of the Turkish brigade died as they held fast. I think one major reason we never saw a modern Greco-Turkish war (despite ample provocations) fear the Greeks had of Turkish army. Turkish actions in

The turkish soldier has always been feared and respected by their enemies for a long, long time, and I'm sure the same would apply in any future combat they take part in.

In no particular order (and based on last 80 years, not just at present). United Kingdom Turkey "Old" British commonwealth forces(New Zealand, Aussies, Canadians, Gurkhas, India) Germany Poland Vietnam SOME units from USA, Russia, France, China (but only SOME) Japan would be included but I'm uncomfortable about using the word respected for Japanese soldiers for obvious reasons. Reasons which also apply to a lesser extent to Germany, Russia, and of course in to ALL armies in a small way as atrocities have (and I mean HAVE, not MAY) been committed by the armies of EVERY army in EVERY war. I'm sure Ive missed some glaring cases, but thats my list.

US Rangers? Nah. UK SAS? Hah! ANZACS? Maybe... Ghurkas? Pffhhhhhh..... It has to be the 'Marxist Women's Alliance' I've seen advertised here and there. God help us all if they band together with the Femocrats and other militant man haters..... I'm not a mysoganist (I know you're asking "you sure?"), but these groups can be quite scary....... don't think the ghurka's would really count for two reasons. first they are in the british army or the indian army and there are only a few btn's of them left now. second pick a hundred random people off the street in any major city and ask them how many calories are in a ghurka and whether ghurkas are better baked or pan fried. most people have no idea who ghurkas are outside the military and i'll bet a pretty good chunk of the world's military wouldn't do any better at that test.

Hey Advocate, you shouldn't try and tell the people here about something you know nothing of. I am a member of the Canadian Forces, and have been firing the C-7 for 2 years, during those 2 years I have had 1 jam. One of my corporals has yet to have a jam. Even the British SAS tested the C-7 against the M-16 and found the C-7 better more reliable weapon and bought enough C-7 for the whole SAS regement. And the training of our regular army, even reserves, far surpasses that of the US regular army. The reserves go to Fort Lewis and run circles around the regular full time US soldiers. We also now have the best uniforms in the world, CADPAT. We are also the most in demand soldiers for Peacekeeping. And for tanks, our reservist tank crews in our old tanks regularly beat american tank crews in their new tanks in shooting competitions. So before you go talking **** about your countries armed forces, maybe you should get some real experience in how we work instead of sitting on the sidelines complaining like a little baby.
