According to what I read from several German soldier's biografies, Canadians were the most feared soldiers by Germans. Canadians were always mentioned as very fierce.

I guess nearly every player in both world wars has been feared at one time or another. If you are heads down bums up in a dugout and you've just been crapped on by some major arty and you were about to be assaulted by a strong infantry force you'd be fearing the enemy. If I was a pub owner in any nation where troops from another nation were resting on RnR I'd be a little worried.

Only because they most likely have nukes. Apart from that what is to fear about them? what have North Korean soldiers done in the past 40 years? They are a one-punch army. If they attack South Korea and they don't break through they are stuffed because they do not have the logistics to support an on-going conflict.

Excluding nukes, North Korea is no match for a determined South Korean/US attack. The vast numbers of artillery pieces would initially be able to inflict significant casualties on the Allies, but they would be knocked out pretty soon after the beginning of hostilities (gunship helos, counter battery fire, JDAMS). The vast majority of North Korea's airforce consists of ancient and poorly maintained equipment, and the Allies should be able to very quickly establish air superiority. The army might be huge but its armour is obsolete, and even South Korean T-80s should be able to operate highly succesfully. Moreover, the Allied "Kampfgruppen" massed on the "Schwerpunkt" would see first-rate MBTs supported by artillery, helos, and motorised rifle troops, and the North Koreans would be hard pressed to organise an effective defence. This Allied attack would no doubt be supported by extensive EW (Electronic Warfare) operations, hamstringing the North Koreans even further as communications are paramount for mounting an adequate defence against fast-moving forces. I think the Allies might suffer heavy casualties from artillery in the initial phases of the war, but after that they shouldn't have much in the way of problems in tearing North Korea apart. I think the Army of North Korea is very highly over-rated.
