A U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control system assigned to Air Combat Command at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., flies over the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). The Theodore Roosevelt is underway to conduct a composite training unit exercise with its carrier strike group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests a carrier strike group's mission-readiness and ability to perform as an integrated unit through simulated real-world scenarios.
