A U.S. Air Force Martin B-57A Canberra, first production model, in flight over Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Maryland (USA), in 1953. Martin built the B-57 under license from English Electric. The B-57 entered USAF service in 1954 and was retired in 1983. Later models of the Canberra were used as reconnaissance aircraft.
