Pacific Ocean (June 9, 2005) - The guided missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) cruises through the ocean during a passing exercise between the U.S. and Japanese naval forces. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) is currently conducting readiness training in support of the Navy's Fleet Response Plan.
