Israel has
ordered 10,000 smart bomb kits (guidance systems that are bolted on to dumb
bombs, to make them smart bombs), as well as nearly 5,000 laser guided Paveway
bombs. Israel already has about 5,000 kits, and this new order would indicate
that Israel is shifting from dumb bombs, to all smart bombs, for any future
war.
