A new GAO report says that the F-22 program will be about 11 months behind schedule due to delays in the delivery of test aircraft. The delays are due to budget cuts and cost overruns. The Air Force insists that the F-22 will meet its performance goals, but the GAO is not convinced, noting that weight gains may cost the aircraft some of its projected maneuverability or supersonic cruise capabilities.--Stephen V Cole
