LRA rebels fleeing towards Gulu via Anaka burnt three trucks between Agung and Ayago bridge on 29 July. Witnesses claimed that this group was well-armed with RPGs. The rebels abducted around 50 people in Anaka sub-county (Gulu district) they found digging in their gardens as the rebels retreated towards Gulu. Kony's own group of 200 LRA rebels crossed back into his hideouts in southern Sudan's Imatong hills on 26 July, allegedly escaping pressure from the UPDF. - Adam Geibel
