Thailand: Bombs and Beheadings

Archives

November 24, 2005: In the last week, at least two Moslems have been killed, by Islamic terrorists, for not supporting the Islamic terrorists. Non-Moslems continue to be killed, often by beheading, as terrorists try to force all non-Moslems out of the largely Moslem south. The government is sending more troops and police, with instructions to go easy on hardball behavior. The government economic program has created several thousand more jobs in the south. This is noticed down there, but is not slowing the terrorists down yet.

November 20, 2005: Two bombs went off in a market of a town along the Malaysian border. There was one death and ten wounded.
