 The government continues to throw obstacles in the way to peace in Darfur. It threatens to shut the U.S. embassy, and keep American aid for the peacekeepers out of the country. The government also announced that all African Union peacekeepers must either prove they are AIDs free, or take a test and wait for the results before entering Darfur. It's pretty clear that the government does not want to stop it's ethnic cleansing in Darfur, and will not tolerate any foreigners interfering.
