The "Somalia Peace Rally" claims that warlord Colonel Abdullahi Yusuf of Puntland and his cronies had arranged secret contracts in Thailand in November 2002 to exploit Somali's marine resources. Adullahi gave fishing permits to sweep Somalia's waters of high-value tuna, shark and ray fins, lobster, deepwater shrimp and Whitefish. In the last two years, they say that Abdullahi has used most of this money for building up his militia in order to suppress the people within his region. - Adam Geibel
