The South Korean government persuaded TV networks to not broadcast videos of North Korean executions. The pictures were taken secretly and smuggled out of North Korea, via China, earlier this month. The video has been shown everywhere else, except in Korea (North and South). South Korean officials do not want to antagonize North Korea, and do things like this to gain the good will, and cooperation, of North Korean officials.
