Israel imposed a blockade on Palestinian areas, preventing any movement into Israeli areas. However, Palestinians can still enter using back roads and numerous paths away from the main crossings. Palestinians fired on an Israeli bus, but there were no casualties. Palestinian demonstrators continued to stone Israeli troops. Israeli warplanes flew over much of Lebanon, breaking the sound barrier several times to remind the Lebanese that Israel could attack any time they wanted.
