 Iran has obtained and installed the manufacturing equipment needed to manufacture the  liquid-fuel engines for their Shihab-3 ballistic missiles. With a range of 1700 kilometers, and based on proven North Korean, Russian and German technology, the Shihab-3 gives Iran the ability to hit Israel, as well as any target within neighboring countries. Equipment and technical personnel from North Korea and Russia made it possible for Iran to develop the manufacturing facilities for the rocket engines. Iran already has modern manufacturing capabilities in many areas, so the development of the rocket motor factory
