  Reports from within Iran indicate that the government has rounded up 400 al Qaeda suspects and extradited them to their home countries. At least half of these men were said to be from Pakistan. These arrangements were apparently being kept quiet because Islamic conservatives were handling the process, and favored allowing the al Qaeda men to return home without fuss so they could continue their terrorist activities.
