  Upset at increasing unrest among young Iranians, the police have imposed a midnight curfew in the capital. During the Summer, urban Iranians traditionally stay up very late, when it is a lot cooler. Many shops don't close until 3 AM. The curfew will give the teenagers and college students less time to hang together and think revolutionary thoughts. The Shah's police imposed similar restrictions before the 1979
