Indonesia sent representatives to a secret (until it was over) three day meeting in Australia on terrorism. Counter-terrorism organizations, including the US Army Special Forces, attended. The meeting was held to establish better coordination between southeast Asian nations on counter-terrorism efforts. Among the nations sending representatives were the United States, Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia, India, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
