 The government is losing millions of dollars a day in revenues from natural gas facilities in Aceh that have been shut down by the violence. The oil companies running the operation will not reopen the facilities until the violence has calmed down. While the government may declare the violence over, the oil companies make their own assessment, and currently the feeling is that the rebels are still very active, and capable of attacking the natural gas facilities.
