Three bodies were discovered in Aceh. The men were identified as members of the GAM rebels organization. Locals say the army killed them despite the December 9th ceasefire. Both sides have been accusing the other of breaking the ceasefire, and both sides are apparently right.

In Papua, 52 World War II bombs were unearthed near an airport. Some 27 of the bombs were still active. A Japanese air base existed in the area during the war.
